ITV to launch 1TV 4

I read today that soon ITV will launch a digital channel "for men"

called er, ITV 4

on Freeview, could be ages away though.
The reason its for men is because ITV say its mainly women who watch ITV 2 and older people watch ITV 3.

As its ITV also I dont expect much T&A stuff

Not that all we want is T&A but what a load of pish Men and Motors is for eg - now all we get after 10.00pm is stand up comedy (but it keeps being repeated), stunt shows or fooking Club Reps

The thing is ITV3 is utter rubbish so I'm not expecting much.

ITV2 is pretty decent but ITV3 is just VERY old ITV dramas.

Yeah. It is supposedly aimed at the older market. Maybe thats what they want to see.

Has anybody checked out any of the programmes on ITV4 yet? I have to admit I'm quite surprised that ITV has put together quite a decent little Channel. Loads of Cult sci-fi, some good and some bad, the best being Francis Ford Coppola's First Wave and Dark Skies. Unfortunately I missed the first episodes of dark skies so I'm waiting for a re-run but I have been enjoying rewatching First Wave. I would have checked out more of their programming but my TV Schedule is already overloaded.

We don't get ITV4 on Telewest digital.

On another note The Horror Channel started yesterday for us.
