I still can't decide what to do about Henry... he's out for a few weeks, but I've already made a transfer this week. Do I cost myself 4 points and hope that I pic someone who will earn more than 4, or what?

3rd, but keeping pace with the leaders!

Is all going to wrong for me when I leave on my travels, as i just won't be able to adjust my team as frequently... Let's hope I've got it "right" by then, then!!!

Well I decided to take a chance and I sold Henry, which cost me 4 points... now I jut have to hope that his replacement scores 4 plus whatever Henry's sub would've scored (most likely 1 point)... so 5 or more is needed.

Why the rolling eyes? I sold him too, not sure if I made a wise purchase but at least I'll have 2 strikers.
Chelski will lose some time I'm sure. Lightning doesnt strike in the same place twice.

When I sold Henry I bought Drogba instead. Hmmm... :?
How likely is he to score?

Now Gardner (Spurs) is out until November. Doh :(

I sold Henry for Reyes... paid off! He got 8 points, so minus the 4 that Henry cost me to sell, that's 4 more points than I would've had!!

Anyway the table at the end of Gameweek 6... I'm closing in!!

I've done badly this week as I made Bent my captain and he didnt score - DOH! :(
I want to sell Martyn (Everton are doing crap this season) but if I buy Robinson (Spurs) I dont have enough for Henry once he comes back and I offload Drogba (I think?)
:? What to do! :D
Might sell Pires also if he keeps failing to score :?

No not really. Arsenal's problem is in the link-up between midfield and attack, and usually Bergkamp was great at providing everyone with lots of chances. However, Arsene has a big prejudice against older players, so Bergkamp isn't getting much time to play, thus Arsenal's attack is alot weaker then it is when Bergkamp IS playing.

To fix this, they should let Hleb play a bit more in front of the rest of the midfield, but since Arsenal usually play with upcoming outer-midfielders, it would be to risky to have Hleb also go up front...

Best solution would be to just play Dennis, as he brings a lot of confidence and rest to the team, but Arsene has been keeping him out of the team for many games the last 5-6 years, and every time Dennis had to keep fighting hismefl back into the starting 11, so I doubt Dennis will get many games this year, which is a fucking shame cause he's still one of the very best players in the PL.

Arsenal have lots of good strikers though, with Quincy and Van Persie probably the most promising.

A big name player would be nice for teh sponsors, but the individual qualitiesof most Arsenal players are already very high, so no need to waste 20+ million bucks on it... at least not this season.

Hopefully they can win the next coupla games. :) (Pires is back for the next game.. I think?)
Hell, if Charlton lose a few or draw some and Arsenal can win, they can be near the top again.
Chelski surely will drop some points somewhere ;)
Didnt want to bring in Reyes as he doesnt seem likely to score :? Arsenal havent been very good at the start this term, compared to 2004/5 when they had a blinding start to the season.

Yeah, they're in a bit of a dip.
Personally, I really blame Bergkamp's absence from the squad, cause Arsenal often seems very restless without him. When he's playing, I think the rest fo the teams just KNOWS there will be chances, so they won't go running around like head-less chickens.

I feel sorry for Reyes; he's a very good forward, yet Wenger usually makes him play on the left-midfield or as some kind of winger...

Van Persie is simply awesome at times, but doesnt have Bergkamp's quality (yet?).

...and Quincy is stunning, and I really hope he'll be playing tuesday-night, against his former club Ajax. (although I ofcourse prefer Dennis)

Yeah Chelsea will probably drop some points sooner or later. Mourinho is a very good, clever coach though, so it will be very hard to beat them. I don't really like the way Chelsea play, and Drogba isnt really the kind of forward I like, but they have a brilliant defence and many options up front.

Is Bergkamp back next game? I thought he was banned? :?
The Arsenal-Chelsea home game should be a good one, if Arse can beat them and close the gap, but Henry needs to be fit and on form by then. :)

Bergkamp isnt banned, he's injured. Van Persie is banned cause he raised his foot too high so he hit a guy in the face...

When is the Arsenal-Chelsea game? Cause Henry is out for 3-4 more weeks I believe. They should just start with Quincy, and Bergkamp and Van Persie providing him.
