DID U KNOW THIS………
An Indian discovered that nobody can create a folder anywhere named

This is something pretty cool...and unbelievable... At Microsoft the
Whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened!
Try it out yourself.

LOL !
Since "con" means "jerk" in french, I always believed it was some kind of automatic censorship on the french edition of Windows XP.

Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

True, but it's been a while since I've given up on DOS.
I've kinda forgotten how that stuff works.
AUX doesn't work either.
Neither do NUL, LPT1, COM1...

Gojensen is right. DIR is a command not a device.
That's flipping quality though.
'mkdir' is better known as 'md' and 'rmdir' as 'rd' btw.
What do the:
\\.\
Mean in the syntax? I've not come across those before.
I wonder if you can call a folder con with pre Windows XP or better yet Windows 95?
p.s - You need to substitute e: with c: for most people.
